I'm a sophomore Mechanical Engineering student. I've loved space since I was little, always dreaming up new and fanciful space craft. NUSTARS has been an amazing place to live my passion. I have learnt a lot about space, from how to build an amateur rocket to how to design a space station. In addition to space and engineering, I'm a member of the Club Fencing team, and I dance on the Ballroom, Latin and Swing team (BLAST).
Katie is a junior mechanical engineer. She was born in New Jersey and has never pumped her own gas, but is looking to explore the world. Her interests are deeply rooted in designing rockets, building rockets, and painting rockets. Outside of NUSTARS she enjoys representing her school as a tour guide. When she finishes university, she hopes to travel around to all of the Space and Aerospace Museums located across America.
Jake is a sophomore chemical engineer. He is from Kenosha, Wisconsin, which just so happens to be the launch site for many NUSTARS launches. He enjoys being active and playing most sports, although he is particularly good at soccer and bad at baseball. When he is not doing chemical engineering or building rockets, Jake Clady also plays club ultimate frisbee.
